Methane yield database (MY-D)

• MY-D provides hierarchically organized collection of methane yields and metadata.

• MY-D maps methane yields to experimental conditions (metadata).

• Limited overlap in metadata could be obtained in MY-D.

• Largest attributable source of variation was different studies (substrate batches).

• Approaches to reporting data in published literature need reconsideration.
